A new BMW 1 Series from Germany — why is it worth it?
The BMW 1 Series is the brand's entry-level premium compact, and yet a true BMW: precise chassis, excellent material quality and the latest digital interior. If you want a new car, the offer on the German market is considerably wider than on the Slovak one — so we will find exactly the engine, colour and equipment you had in mind. CarAdvance has been importing premium cars from Germany since 2003, turnkey, with all formalities fully handled.
How much does a new BMW 1 Series cost?
The price of the BMW 1 Series depends on the version you choose: the petrol BMW 118 is a balanced entry point, the BMW 120 is a more dynamic mild hybrid and the BMW 120d is an economical diesel for high-mileage drivers.
Which BMW 1 Series version should you choose?
The 118 (156 hp) is ideal for everyday use, with low running costs; the 120 (170 hp) offers a sportier experience and a 48V mild-hybrid system; the 120d (163 hp, 360 Nm) is the most economical in the long run, with plenty of torque. All feature 7-speed DCT transmission and front-wheel drive.
Buy, lease or rent?
Whatever suits you best: besides a custom order, the 1 Series is also available with financing and leasing, at a predictable monthly fee. And if you would rather not own it, the model can also be yours on long-term rental. Looking for a barely used example? We'll show you what to look out for when buying a used car in Germany.

What VAT do I pay on a new car?+
Within the EU, a new car (up to 6 months from first registration or with no more than 6 000 km) is always taxed in the buyer's country – in Slovakia at 23 % VAT. Caradvance GmbH invoices you without German VAT and you pay the Slovak VAT in Slovakia: a private individual at their tax office within 7 days of purchase, a company in its VAT return. We will explain the procedure when you order. The advantage is the German price and choice, not a lower VAT.

How long does the import take?+
It depends on the chosen configuration, but typically a few weeks. We handle every step of the sourcing process, including registration and putting the car on the road.
